Today, January 26, 2017, Ana had an appointment with the oral surgeon in Hattiesburg to see about removing 4 wisdom teeth. They, at least a couple of them are giving her significant problems. We decided to take a full day–we left early, and our first stop besides gas, was to the ENT for my allergy test–that shot under the skin to determine if you are allergic to the allergy shot. I think that is so ironic. I understand it…but it’s funny to me.
Then to Hobby Lobby–BTW–I passed the allergic reaction test. Thank you Lord, then we cruised the Shoe Station looking at shoes. Ana has to have a nude or white (she wants nude) pair of heels with enclosed toe for graduation. She will also need a pair of fancy black for prom. Then the mall where we replaced her Black Cherry soap from Bath and Body works, cause maw threw hers away. Shame on Me!!!
Then into a few more stores before hitting Hooters for lunch, after that we went to Best Buy.
I simply wanted cheap speakers and wire to run from my tv to the head of the bed so Terry and I could hear the TV. We are both getting deaf. BB only sells high end, quality stuff. Their customers want the best so cheap is NOT what they have.
Ok, so excuse me!!! We left and went and looked at PetCo, where we got Blaise a name tag, then on the other pet store for Ana to drool over the snakes..ugh…no…uhg…….into the Kitchen Store right by it that are so proud of their stuff I can’t afford it….then on to her Oral Surgeon. We were 30 minutes or more late being called back there, but the wait time to see the doc was blissfully short. Out of Hattiesburg and by Wally World in Columbia where we ran into some church friends, picked up what we needed and home.
I had Stacie pick me up a few groceries while she was in town this morning, since she had the EBT card and since I feed HER child, I deserve it. I told her I needed a bag of Quick Quaker Grits like I cook for breakfast…that child was raised here with me buying Quaker quick grits in the 5 lb bag. She brings home a box of instant. Ugh…oh well.
All in all, Ana and I decided we really enjoyed our day and we look forward to going back in Febuary on their Tuesday holiday–she thinks it’s President day and they are supposed to have MOnday and Tuesday off but Monday is a make up day so it will only be Tuesday. We plan to go back and look for prom dresses.
Yes, a good day.
My poor little Pepper was attacked again today. I know she is so tired of being jumped on. She is not an attack dog, she bothers no one…..at least this time the lacerations aren’t as bad, but we think she was tossed about. UGH. Ant this is just one side. She has tears on the other side too.
Friday at the cleaners
I had a busy day today. I cashed out around 4:30 and had several customers after and a problem to solve…so have to cash out again in the morning. I didn’t sweat it this time. My trainer always said cash out around 4:30 in case…but after today, I think I will wait until closer to 5. 🙂
Terry if finally feeling better, bless his heart. The Levsin the doc gave him and time has taken care of his situation.
Last week I ordered some red hanging price tags for pepper jellies and hot pickles and didn’t notice that Ebay has my sister’s old address as my mailing address-I had ordered something for her a while back. Ugh, took a few days to get that cancelled, I re-ordered and they arrived today…lovely red hanging tags to signify hot product.
I found some red elastic hair pony tails that I can tie the red price tag to for the hot product, making it easy to spot at a glance. I take the pony elastic off when I sell the product and that makes inventory easy. 😀 Some days I amaze myself…LMAO at myself.
Ana’s wisdom teeth appt is next Thursday. I will work on Monday and Dana will work for me on Thursday. That’s the great thing about working with someone I know–we can arrange and swap and help each other.
Example: Today a lady came in for her husbands suit, needed to wear to her father’s funeral. The suit was in, not the shirt. I looked and couldn’t find it under the name given. Lady was very upset and I understand why. Id’ have been too. I called Dana and she had put it under the wrong name. She’s worked there 5 years and it helped me feel less inadequate knowing she messes up too. I can say that right now my mistakes are mostly of the ignorant/can’t remember what she told me that ONE time type. LOL But I know I’ll make some major ones down the road.
A lady came in today …a lady who comes about every 2 weeks. She laid 2 pairs of pants on the counter and walked out. I knew the face but hadn’t learned her name. I stood there for about 15 minutes typing in her last name (spelled wrong) and trying to remember her first name…it’s Wilkie. Then it occurred to me..scan the bar code in her pants dummy. 😀 😀 Yup, there her name was.
Alterations give me problems. I know what they want done, but I can’t remember the tagging process…but I think I’m about to get it .
As of Jan. 1, Medicare was my primary insurance. All the paperwork I had received said they would sign me up for drug coverage, and I’d pay the Part B part. While everyone else I spoke with had a 109. 00 or so monthly premium for Part B, mine was 134.00 which they pulled from my lil ol 400.00 SS check.
Thankfully I had a 2nd part time job I had just gotten.
So, I gather all my stuff-info on the new job, proof of the insurance payment, wrote a letter to my Medicaid caseworker and dropped it off. Haven’t heard from that side of the street yet-but SS did put my insurance payment back into my account.
Then I learn that I have no drug coverage until Feb 1 and I have to sign up for it, even though all the paperwork said Medicare would auto enroll me. So I called and got drug coverage so I could continue taking my IV med. They, along with other prescriptions are covered under a transition type insurance—BUT—it won’t cover my vials of breathing treatment that go in the nebulizer. That is covered under Part B and has to be another type pharmacy than my local one.
I’ve emailed my doctor to discuss going back to the handheld puffers-as my drug coverage will cover that and I can get them 3 months at a time for the same co-pay as for a month at the local pharmacy..yes, I now pay a co-pay. Ugh again.
IV line is still going. I have to use the gravity flow bag now, rather than the Eclispe ball, because, you guessed it, medicare won’t pay for the ball. No problem, I had a pole Terry had fixed for me.I’m paying a co-pay weekly for the IV meds; Home Health is helping as much as possible to stock me up on saline and heparin ..but I will end up paying for dressing kits I’m sure.
